You did better than we did. Placed order, paid for it, waited a fortnight before ringing up to be told that hey had none in stock and wouldn't have a production run within the next four to six weeks.

And NA :scared1: probably one in ten orders are satisfactory. They really need to get their house in order unfortunately.

Did the same a Gary, they keep telling me they will ring back, but don't. I wouldn't mind if they told me that the parts are on back order I just want to know whats going on. They have not even given a crap excuse yet. Wish I had read this before placing the order.

  2. I thought that they cut OK to start with but would not hold there edge very well, seemed to be for ever sharpening, also found the odd tooth on some chains really hard and the file struggled to sharpen them, and some were quite soft. Found the one on my mates climbing saw was very aggressive from the start, as if the raker teeth were to low. They are good for the price, similar to the Australian Archer chains I think. Overall think I will personally stick with the Oregon & Stihl for the time being. Good luck with it Northern Arb would be nice to have a bit of decent competition in the future

  3. How long have you had yours, do they seem to last? cheers, steve/QUOTE]

I have had them about a year and a half, they seem to last much better than the muckboots, I dont wear them all the time but are comfy, warm have good grip, removable insoles. Cant fault them for what I want them for.

  4. I do a lot of farm knapsacking, generally people dont like doing it round here as very hilly. Once you get your name out farmers talk to each other or put a small advert in your local parish magazine or shop. I personally have never advertised and have lots of knapsacking this time of year.

  5. I bought a second hand ifor williams p6 for £600, its in really good nick and will hold its value well. Its brilliant have two larger trailers but the little one is used the most.

  6. I have posted an old chainsaw on ebay today, its a 011AV Quickstop. I have no idea of value not a lot i imagine, it has a hard carry case with it needs a bit of restoration not sure when it was last started. Have a look if interested.
