  2. I kbow you hqve contract climbers but what about groundstaff say own saw cs30 31 38 and chipper would this be of use to companies

  4. so just using the gripples you dont need clamps and so on as you can just go up to each set of gripples at tighten as required
  5. thanks for the replies wasnt sure if these would pull enough tension whats the maximum these would tension roughly metres wise
  6. this thing i mean remove the vertical wires to pull tight
  7. thanks for the replies ive just had a look at gripple website what about the torq tool they have for tensioning any good then use the connectors when tight enough
  8. so i didnt just dream of it lol seems easy enough in hein sight then just crimp the 2 ends together with clamps
  9. i thibnk this is what im meaning loop the wire over the hooks winch from the loop then attach the wires together if that makes sense

  13. about 200 metres for one of the fields but he is thinking of having his full 10 acres all done which id split into his garden and fields or diffrent sizes

  17. basically ive decided on getting myself into a uniform rather than looking like stig of the dump in my jeans and tshirt now heres my question ill be wearing combats but do i go for hiviz tshirt or polo or just a coloured polo in my choice of colour thinking myself the hiviz polo its smart hiviz for safety but also people will see me and my business name more as ill have it printed up as apose to a green polo say whats your opinions or do you even wear a uniform as such
  18. exactly the main thing is i was paid and away safe oh forgot to add i ripped my saw pants on a barbed wire fence aswell but sowed them back together happy day today on a different job burning my arch enemy the leylandi lol
  19. nah no pictures just let them get on with and kept my distance so i wasnt antagonising them or out when the police turned up and we were outnumbered lol

  21. just a quick rant lol started a job monday to half some decent sized leylandi trees started off ok then bang start cord snaps in my hand no spare so trip back into town to fix the saw the guy did a quick check as it wasnt running exactly 100% turns out the saw is on its way out so anyway back to job now behind scedule then grumpy neighbour comes out with the local hippy brigade going ape as im a tree killer blah blah any way ended up police came cleared them off then while having a quick drink the customer then comes out ohh ya know can ya just drop every other tree completely calmy i replied yeah but obviously id have to do another quote as it would be at least another day to do finally agree a price so next day i turn up hippy brigade is standing round the new trees to be felled again police responded and moved them felled the extra trees just about finished tidying up when you guessd it ohh can ya just cut them all down now please again calmy but now with gritted teeth yes but a new quote again price agreed turned up today now the hippy brigade are actually strapped to the trees again police attendance cleared them off just about to start the bang saw blows up lucky i had put the old mcculloch saw in just incasee job finally cleared up and all sorted paid and left sight at this point im sitting at home thinking christ im happy im away from that job then suddenly the phone goes ohh ive got another tree to come out aaaaahhhhhh lol its on hold any way as im too busy the next few weeks to get back jesus 2 days left of this week please let them run smoothly lol
  22. i sprayed a massive carp fishery one summer as a youth all 6 weeks holiday carrying a knapsack spraying post bottoms and tops dont know how many thousand i actually did with kreosote works a treat i did go hope very stinky though
  23. 1 million cover 250 excess covers everything i need as long as i follow the rules (inform police working on roads signs safety tape and so on) even covers me for burning waste people are disgusting stealing other folks work gear love to see them actually get in to mine to get stuff with my fluffy pals awaiting there attempts lol
