  9. I use the Crossfire model and its sight quicker than a chainsaw
  10. I do buddy..they good bits of kit for small stuff
  11. found this one randome..dinky thing but seems to work? turbo spalter youtube - Bing Videos
  12. me thinks http briquette_seller you are right...on the case as we speak.. makes sense cheers bud
  13. I agree with what your saying but I want to run the arb waste as a separate operation as mostly 3 to 4 ft diameter rings so its mostly chainsaw work and splitter but given I pay very little for arb waste its a valuable profit margin etc . I am looking at jap 305 towable for 12 inch timber and its portable so suits my needs reason being to reduce time spent on chainsaws and increase production on this side of things..i understand from looking at the 305 it may take most canopy woods and bought timber? but not having looked before I do not know were to begin for cord suppliers and pitfalls?
  14. yes arb waste big rings... this is my first look at processors:001_tt2: its just been me axe..log splitter..looking at procesors now and what I understand it has to be fairly strait timber to put through them
  15. me again! I am still researching firewood processors and more so were to buy wood in for processor? what do I need to be looking for in timber?..what prices?..most competitive companys local to me? also I assume some arb waste will go through a wood processor? I am based in atherstone warickshire
  16. no one loan from council at 6 % and £3000 grant
  17. sent you a pm.. my worries are I am at present working with axe,,chainsaws,,circular saw and using arb waste so all familer to me so to speak I know they way its going sales are increasing so thus processor looks like a must? I have been advised at my stage to buy something like a japa 305 towable again told it can produce 10 cube a day? questions I need to research amongst others im sure: how much is strait cord to buy in? were from? what machine would suit my needs ? what im trying to do is up production both in stock piles for next winter but also mindefull that the stock pile for next winter is dead money until sold in winter...I don't have allot of capital to buy in wood for processor so im running keen apart from getting grant for processor..one good thing is I will get a separate grant for £3000 so im thinking use this as capital to buy first load of wood? I still want to run the arb waste side as profits are very good given I pay next to nothing for the wood so it would be daft to let it go and focus soley on processor.
  18. any pics of machine in action? or links to model?
  19. thanks for advise so far keep it coming based on my projected turnover log wise any recommendations on a model?
  20. ok thank you very much any recommendations?
