Hi every could someone tell if this saw is negative ground or positive:confused1: Thanks
  10. Hi everyone As anyone fitted electronic ignition to there stihl 020? I've seen these modules for sale, I'm rebuilding a 020 I just wondered weather it would be a worthwhile upgrade. Regards Richard
  11. Oh I don't fancy going through all that. As it would only be used on a mill, do you think that some type of external oiling system would be ok, like low pressure fed into the nose maybe. Back soon dinners boiling over cheers
  12. Hi Eddy, yep the main thing is the oiler, I've looked through the oil filler hole and were the manual pump housing goes there seems to be a cover plate? I'm hoping when this is removed it's just fit the pump housing and no drilling. Also I've removed the main pump bung to reveal a steel plug were the pump should be which will come out quite easy. On the plus side it arrived with the chain cover, bar studs, and nuts, chain adjuster and inner bar plate all fitted. I've only had a quick luck so far, I was really hoping it could be done without splitting the crankcase. Oh well looks like a proper strip down any advise would be great. Thanks guys
  13. Hi thanks for the reply I've got 3x 020's i would like to mod one these a bit more rpm ect, The 076 was a bit misleading sorry, I have just purchased a ts 760 in pretty good nick, and I want to convert it to the 076? Strictly for milling, and I was fishing for info. Regards Richsark
  14. Hi everyone just a quick question, as anyone ported the muffler on the 020 or the 076, and I sir worth porting these saws? Regards Richard
