  1. Cheers chaps! Yeah it's 7.5ton truck It's great fun doing it for yourself.... I've seen a lot of chip boxes and I'm incorporating the best bits of what I've seen into one! The rear will have two small barn doors and two large barn doors right up to the top, they will be able to open together or separate and the large top ones will add as a wind block for the debris when chipping! I've had to leave the front tool box suspended so I can get my 15ft Ramps in! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Thanks... The rest of the roof will also double up as a work platform! It's been a tough build with a lot of planning involved but it's turning out just as I wanted it whilst saving ££££

  9. Have you had one in your hand? They have a sort of ceramic feel! Extremely smooth Can use with a pulley block as anchor point then craning point with a x ring which works well because it can be moved and carried much easier Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. Why would he be left handed using the zillon like that? I'm right handed and my strop friction will always be on the left hand side or the centre! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. I've been using the x rings which I spliced at the weekend and I'm chuffed with them... Def beats hauling the blocks around up the tree! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. Def wouldn't have them raking on site! Next thing would be client wanting the money from the clippings! They've never said to me they'll rake it, usually say collect it on sheets and store somewhere cool Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  15. Cheers I'll look in to those, I've got a slice of cedar butt about 6 feet across and I'm going to try and make a table top. Just a bit worried about it drying and splitting! It's about 6 inch thick and was cut today, should I leave it a while or carve and smooth straight away? Cheers Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk

    Tool hook

I made a great chainsaw hook from the metal off a shopping trolley handle! It's already shaped perfectly and pretty much just needs cutting off and fitting. It's always open so makes for easy on and off, saw never falls off when swinging about either! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Used the saw all day on a couple of conifers and it was superb, loads of grunt for such a small bit of kit. Guna put the metal dogs on for a bit more bite though! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

    New Ms192t

I was already to purchase a 150 but when I saw this and picked it up I thought it was a 150 - feels the same weight and size, one massive plus is that it has the same lanyard clip as the ms200 Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
