  1. Lovely thanks Fred
  2. Hi thanks for the replies, all three are in the ground and this one is situated about five feet from another which at the min is unaffected. In regards to light water wind etc all three bays I would say have the same conditions. It's definately not fire damage for sure. If it is bay sucker what is the best course of action?
  3. Hi I went to quote the other day and in the customers garden he had three resonable bay's approx 10ft in height. Two of the bays are fine an healthy going well however one has died back by about a quarter leaving one corner as bare wood which is dead. The leaves surrounding that section of the bay are small, yellow and shrivelled. (Apologies for poor picture) I haven't seen this before an I'm struggling to find out what it is or what's causing it. Any ideas I'd be grateful. Thanks

  8. Hi, probably me being an idiot but if anyone can help if be grateful. I have a '97 entec ch25 like the timberwolf tw125. Problem is that I need to change the battery on it. It s housed next to the hydraulic an petrol tanks which are directly under the feed shute. The space between there and the wheel arch isn't big enough to slide the battery out. I'm without manual for the machine and guess I may need to remove some parts maybe but before I do if anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful. Like I say probably just me being a fool. Thanks Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Don't touch LV!!!!!! Autonet, or Highway. Had my 130 tipper nicked four months ago and I'm now still waiting on settlement. They had a complete lack of understanding of the vehicle. Their engineers were trying to settle based on a 110 station wagon, completely different vehicle. Then when I challenged the riddiculous settlement figure thy were offering they decided to investigate me for none disclosure of modifications, these included many of things listed above. This was made worse by the fact that the broker had not listed any specific details of the vehicle I had provided. Months of stress and sticking to my guns and eventually their head engineer got involved and confirmed I hadn't lied and this is how Land rover SV produced the vehicle and that his engineers basically had no idea what they were looking at. Definately a lesson learnt and when I eventually get a replacement I will supply the insurer with a full spec list and complete set of pictures of the landy before I confirm the policy. Read the small print on modifications it's amazing what they consider a mod! And if a vehicle is nicked and unrecoverd they will only pay you out based on an average condition vehicle even if yours is mint condition, unless you happen to have full paperwork of works carries out an a full set of pictures covering every inch of the vehicle including the engine block and can internally etc. Long post I know but I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I have! 12. That's sounds really good mate had no idea you could do that, cut off the fuel I mean. There is no doubt at all that what ever happens the next truck will have something to the effect on it. I ve had round one with the insurers yesterday, and apparently I ve got to have another phone interview on Wednesday no doubt because they think they can pick holes in my claim. 13. Ha ha beautiful. Yeah I seen it mate for sure. Hopefully it ll be fine mate. Stick the diff in neutral maybe mate when you park it. At the very least if they don't notice and hit the accelerater it ll rev hard so you might hear if anyone did try it on. If I ever find another one it's gonna have to be trackered I think can't go through this again. I ll install the tracker but won't register it unless it gets nicked. I think you can still do that, avoids the monthly payments. Then when it's nicked register the tracker goes live and works as per. Used to be able to do that anyway. Next up is the battle with the insurance criminals Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  17. Cheers dude, That's proper bad luck She's back on the road now I take it? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Shipped straight out, Containered and broken Or taken north overnight from here Would be my guesses difficult to keep it on the road or in one piece as they're so identifiable. Nicked to order these boys do it properly, probably,y driven on copied plates from a very similar landy elsewhere in the country they ve seen parked up so it's not picked up by ANPR etc on the road or at the ports. Unfortunately they re not nicked by the normal morons Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Yeah no idea how I'm gonna replace it to be honest, I'm just starting out really slowly been putting my kit together, this is such a massive backward step as I was very lucky to get it in the first place, real kick in the teeth. Thanks again for all the replies I'm so grateful for people just keeping am eye out for me. Defender jack are you eastbourne then? I work with Ollie and Ashley. Cheers again everyone Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Thanks guys. I ve stuck it on here and Facebook, ad on ebay my mate did, obviously reported it to the old bill and called as many people as I can to get the word out the boys I work with have been quality letting people know for me. It's pretty distinctive. I m properly gutted can't believe it. Turns out another lad we know literally just down the road from me had his van turned over and all his saws etc nicked. Must have been watched I think as I d been away and the battery needed charging, same morning I charge the battery that afternoon/ early evening she gone. Coincidence I think not! Hit nicked between 3 and 7pm brazen hey Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  24. Hi did you have any luck finding your grinder? Be interested to hear once you do a what you went for and how it grinds. Anyone got any opinions on whether its worth paying the extra to have a self drive pedestrian grinder or not. From what I can see they look the same as the push grinders, just wondered if the self drive benefits the units grinding capabilities or not? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  25. Let me know how much mate, I'd be interested, it's for a 98 300tdi but I guess it ll fit ok Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
