Hi, We are looking for someone to transport cm3 bags of logs to customers for us, hopefully frequently as possible, someone has asked us to get a price for as many bags as possible(that can be transported) from wv16 6pb to cw3 0dt. Arctic access would not be too bad as we could get the bags to the main road where there is suitable pull in for the lorry. We are pretty new to this as we only usually supply locally, but now our management plan on the wood has been approved we are looking to extract 800 tonne of hard wood before april so would like to sell it asap. <p>My Name is Tom. Me and my Dad bought a 63 acre woodland a few years back and we have recently had our woodland management plan approved by not only the FC but also Natural England due to it being a SSSI, this was some task as we produced it ourselves. We have basically been learning as we go along but with all the stress i can gladly say we are reaching our goal.</p>

<p>The Woodland itself is Semi-ancient natural woodland all consisting of broadleaved hardwood, which has not been worked since the second world war, so we have produced a plan for the next 20 years for cutting in the new rides and mainly the whole wood will be coppiced with standards.</p>
<p>Our initial plan was to use the extracted timber as biomass for a 100kw gasification system to put electric back into the grid but for us to raise more funds we will concentrate on the logging side for now. We are looking to extract around 800 to 1000 tonne per season, so our works cut out for us.</p>
