    The land owner. And he's unhappy because he liked them. (You couldn't tell the difference between them and the woodland) the hls gives you points for having trees in fields, BUT you get twice as many points for boundary maintenance.

    So. One of the woodlands I manage is under a hls. So whilst complying with the hls we did the boundary clearance. Not taking away hedgerows. Just felling trees that have self seeded. Or are causing fence damage. Bearing in mind this bound is stock fence. Then dry stone wall. Then the woodland. Now the owner is unhappy!!! You just can't win!!!
