  1. Let's see.... Husqvarna 346 xpg, Dolmar 5105 and Stihl 241 for limbing Husqvarna 560, 390 XP, Dolmar 7900 and Stihl 660 for bucking and so on.... And a Husqvarna 3120 in case I want a backache and a rupture....
  2. Waaaaait a minute! I can only afford the sticky bubbly stuff....
  3. Aw great.... Now I had a load of Coke running through my nose.
  4. :-) Motorsäge (chainsaw) is correct. 'Motor schlagen' would be a little odd as it means 'motor beating'. Stay safe :sly:
  5. As I don't do much climbing I'd stick sich a 346 XP and a Dollar 7900. Gesendet von meinem Nexus 7 mit Tapatalk 2
  6. Happy New Year to all you saw nuts and your families. May 2013 bring you joy, beer and new saws. And most of all: stay healthy.... :-) Did I mention beer?
  7. The Hunsrück region is beautiful and has some larger wooded areas. That's true. You would certainly be given a good start as Germans are quite found of Brits... Except when it comes to football of course. :-) I wish you all the best.
  8. Very perceptive of you. There are a lot of downsides to living here in Germany. It ain't what it used to be. Sure houses and food are cheap but we have quite a few social problems (as you mentioned). As to getting a job as an arborist:that shouldn't be a big problem but the pay isn't that hot due to the fact that the companies are bringing in more and more Polish workers as they are cheaper. Oh yeah: we have a lot of forest (Hesse, Thuringia) - just not in the Trier region. I That area is known for its wine. Cheers
