  2. It wasn't massively expensive, the chap sold softwood and hardwood, but I specifically said just hardwood and paid the premium for it. It also was supposed to be seasoned, but barely burns with minimal flame. As far as the smell goes, it doesn't smell too strongly like I would expect pine to, but I havnt a great nose for wood types! Thanks for all the feedback so far.

  4. I work next door to a tree surgeon who has said it looks like either a cypress or different type of fir, I will try upload some more photos. Thanks in advance . LB.
  5. Hi all, would appreciate any help identifying these logs, as I have been sold 100m3 as hardwood seasoned and I don't believe it is! Any advice or info would be great. Many thanks.
