Great contact, helpful and friendly. Thanks.
  1. We run a forwarder off our 6550 Hi-tech and have the main block hydraulics running from the valves on the right wheel arch as these are the only ones that lock to constant flow. We run the draw bar steer from 1 and 2 (I think), it's the lever furthest forward in the cab as the second lever has the float function.
  2.
Cheers for getting back, it's 07876796143

  4.
Hi, I'm up near Southwold and have logs and cord, please let me know if interested. Cheers.

  5. For those who don't mind Sallow, I've got 25+m3 on the Suffolk Coast. There's a bit of Birch, Sweet Chestnut and Cherry mixed in but not much. 2.4m lengths.
  6. I do a fair bit of small scale firewood with my dad for which he has just got a Stihl cordless chainsaw (msa 160). He's very pleased with it for being light, quiet and mobile, it seems fine going through 50-75mm although Stihl say up to 200mm which hammers the battery.
  7. Same thing with my 550xp running on Aspen, a bit rattley for the first couple of minutes then runs fine. Its improving with use.

    Husky 550XP

Having spent far too much tme reading the equipment forum, I finally bought the 550xp as a replacement for my MS260. I always liked the Stihl, a very faithful saw, but the Husqvarna is fantastic replacement, I am well pleased and have not encountered any problems yet! Thanks to the forum and Rouse's in Aylsham.
