Petzl flow, it's been designed with tending in mind. Best rope I've used

Morning all. I'm looking for some clarity regarding an area TPO. In the description on the schedule (as seen in the picture under A1) it lists specific species. What I'm trying to aclscertain is weather the area tpo covers only the species listed or weather it covers everything within the area?
My gut tells me it's only the species listed that are covered but the tree officer seems unwilling to clarify it and I don't want to go doing some work when actually the trees are covered by the tpo.

As i say, not as refined and i completely agree regarding the lack of comfort, proper spine shaterer on anything but smooth fresh tarmac51 was a good engine, but where I worked in my younger days we had two 5150, they were bollock crushers on the road and not the comfiest in the field, did the job though and pretty reliable....other than the pickup hitches- 1

I've no issues with the 51 series, great tractors but as you said, not quite the cummins powered mx (they were cummins powered though, just not as refined). They are pretty much the same tractor as the mtx with just a different engine and while the Perkins lump in the mtx is good, it's not a patch of the cummins in an mx, completely different animal and the noise that cummins produces is second to noneThose Cummins mx case we're brilliant, made in the McCormick factory, much better than the previous 51series and the newer crappy maxxums etc. Mtx same with Perkins engine I think -
It is yes, such a good power plant in a well built tractorIs that the case with the cummins engine?- 1

That's what I meant, I have a mk2 and having had that and the picture side by side, the pictured zz is definitely a mk3. Just look at the metal around the roll pin on the top link, mine is half the depth of the one picturedSorry, I meant that the picture wasnt a Mk 3, not the accident -
It's a mk3 and there was no recall on the mk2, they just extended the warranty to 10 years. Back to the accident and pictures in question...the issue is the top plate spring has failed, nothing to do with the camIt's also a Mark 2. Wonder why it wasn't replaced in the recall -
Something to consider would be the case mx/McCormick mtx form around 1999-2003 and the John Deere XX00 and XX10 series of around the same era. Not as new as you have suggested but both are good solid work horses, especially the case mx in my experience

Another vote here for the cast workyquad. Brilliant bit of kit, down to 740mm wide on its narrowest wheels I believe but with 100kg counter weights and 70kg operator it'll lift around 400kg (That's absolute max I would think without making it unsafe). Really well built and simple machines too with decent honda/kubota engine options

You talking employed or self employer rates?

Not sure if they still have stock but fr Jones had some replacement tubes. Failing that...contact henchman, I believe they are the uk importersI wouldn’t use any type of harness on a ladder, just brings risk back into the equation.
Incidentally, the plastic tube that connects the harness to the upper vertical pole has snapped on my Easy Lift Harness.
Does anyone know where to find a replacement as I can’t find the right size tube or fix my broken one.- 1

I'd give ladders a miss with an easylify, far too unstable and lack the range of movement often required when on a ladder. As far as the newer model with swivel is concerned...I'll stick with my older one I think, the newer one doesn't seem to work as well as it seems to get locked out on an angle making it difficult to pull the trimmer down again

Not sure if this has the info you wants but here's a link to their fb page https://www.facebook.com/micropelle/Is there anymore info around this? Ive been looking at mini loaders but its hard to compare the models when you are reading a translation -
Been following them on Facebook for probably a couple of years now. Don't look a bad bit if kit in all honesty and they are very cheap in comparison to a lot of others

In short...yes, it's worth more than £23 a ton for biomass. The hard part is finding someone that wants it but it still isn't going to be worth £1000's. Probably looking at around £40-£50 a ton. It will obviously be worth a good bit more than that if slabbed up but again, you have the issue of finding a buyer but also the additional expense of getting it milledI have a client with 2 redwoods 25-30m, one has been dead 7 + years the other died this year.
We could get it roadside in 3m or 5m lengths.
In 15 years I have yet to sell any arisings for anything other than logs or biomass.. Is there any value more than £23 a ton for biomass?
The client thinks it must be worth £1000's. I have sent him the black walnut video...

Been a quiet year for me so far as new jobs are concerned, by Christmas my diary was full till mid April but since Christmas I've only had around 3 weeks of additional work come in. It seems to be picking up slightly at the moment but not really enough to notice. Just taking the good with the bad now and not getting too stressed over it. I've had a good run for a while, it's actually quite nice to start having a mess around fabricating stuff and making stuff from timber instead of just work all the time

Just get a smaller bar and chain for the 550, by far the cheapest optionI’ve got a 550XP with an 18” bar and really like it - never missed a beat.
In addition, I’m looking for something smaller and lighter to use with a 14” bar - predominantly for cutting firewood - domestic use only in all honesty, but I’d like something of similar build quality to the 550XP rather than some of the cheap and cheerful domestic models.- 4

I was considering 3" but I'll suggest 4". The client has got a bit sentimental that the tree had to be removed so wants to try and make use of some of it for something other than firewood
It can be good, spalted or burr are particularly nice.
It's not a durable timber, so it will start to rot.
However cut at 4" thick it should last a while.

What's horse chestnut like as a milled timber? A client wants me to do some so he can use it for rustic outdoor furniture, I'm just curious as to what it will actually be/last like as I've always seen it as a pretty garbage timber to be honest

I don't think it's a mine field, just a slight misunderstanding is allTo be honest I wasn't anticipating this thread to turn into a license explain minefield.- 1

Slight mistake there...The towing vehicle would have to be plated to a mam of 900kg to make it legal to tow over 750kg with a 2600kg mam trailerIf what your saying is true then people could drive vehicles plated to 7.5 tonnes as long as they are empty and weigh less than 3500kg.
Licences use the weight plate numbers from vehicle & trailer.
They do not use real weights.
Real weights are used for C&U offences like over loading.
This is what I do for a living & you are not legal.
Your trailer is using 2600kg of your 3500kg allowance.
Even when empty.
You car would have to be plated to 1400kg to be legal on a Cat B licence.

Id like to add that you can tow 750kg as that comes under the 3500kg+750kg towing category but due to the fact the mam of the towing vehicle is so high, you can't actually legally exceed the 750kg towing capacity
