  1. I think its down to the employer. if the employer is willing to pay someone £65 who stands back or £75 to someone who will be getting stuck in and will graft all day and be willing.

  3. Hi bill, you keeping well, Ive got a quite a bit of work on for various tree surgeons, im booked up for next month or so, i only need a van to be transporting gear about etc

  5. timber price would be low and most likely fuel, i can cut and split and fill a 1 tonne bag in about 1 hour and a half-2 hours if really going for it
  6. just wondering what your rate is for a bag of seasoned logs, i was thinking of having a little go my self. I was thinking maybe £4 per bag, 3 bags or more=delivered free. 1 tonne bag £50 delivered free, 1 astra van/kangoo load £85 delivered. around here it seems to be £3.50-£4.50 per bag, I guess your sales depend on how cold the winter is:001_smile:

  8. would there be a van that you would reccomend, that you could get brash etc in the back. Maybe even a transit box van
  9. would anyone pay up to £80 for a hard working groundie, not afraid to get stuck in, all revelant tickets etc. Or do most people think they are only worth around the £60 mark, would be interesting to know

  15. ive got confidence in the main line, its just with the main strop and standing proud
  16. yeah, i think its a case of getting into your head that you are secured by the ropes, dont get me wrong, ive loved it, but its still in the back of my mind. obviously, the more i go up the better i become
  17. ive been up about three times now, as i dont have my cs38, but am lucky to have someone show me. he said you wont be fully confident untill about a year, and to be fairly quick after about 3. how long did it take you lot to be confident

  20. nice to here he does some work mate, yeah some people agree with digging with terriers, some dont. my terrier comes every where with me to, you been up in scotland, i would think you do fair bit of stalking. im out rabbiting, and shooting etc all through the season
