  1. So after many years and two new top handled husky saws.my t435 was going in the bin.or so I thought.im very pro husky my local husky toy shop being 5mins from my house.to cut a long story short.my t435 started off lovely and i was happy with it 8months in it was as rough as a dog.back n forth to my husky dealer with carb problems.enough is enough n last week I bought the 201t.used it on a big beech dismantle and was very happy with it despite it not being full run in yet.today I had a 15% oak reduction and decided to take my husky up with me for one last go befor selling it.you know what she performed like a gem no carb problems that have plagued her for many months had gone.its almost like she new she was being replaced.how long this goodness will last is another matter!!
  2. Climber needed sub contract.west Sussex area.based in east Grinstead.long term possible.pm me if interested.many thanks sigh
  3. I see that's what u guys are talking about in the other thread.think I'm going to stick with what I know with Yale or marlow.thanks anyway
  4. Has any one used amsteel rope for rigging?im in the market for a new lowering rope and bumped in this stuff on the net.is it any good or would it be better off with double braided rope?
  5. I had mine sent away to husky tech to sort mine out.after it returned it still had carb issues even with new parts on it!! I had it running for about two weeks getting more n more pissed off with it to find that the piston had warn rings on it n the saw was only 9months old.i had the 338 before the 435 which was replaced free of charge to the 435.personally I wouldn't bother untill the 540 is out.
  6. I had the same saw with constant carb probs.its the second top handled ive had from husky and until the the 540 comes out I've got a 150t and I'm very happy with.very light good balance and has enough grunt to do limited reduction .my 435t has been back to be fixed more times than I've had hot dinners!
  7. I was told by local husky dealer that they had started production but had 40 models out to selected climbers for testing for 3months
