I think i'm confusing things here The one above is what i think is hawthorn As it is out of a log pile, and you say it's cherry then it's cherry:biggrin:

That should be 5"x3":blushing:

It's a bit of 100+ year old floor joist Here's the other one patched up with some maple flooring It's only 7"x4"
