  1. Thanks guys... I was considering a 550xp but feel the 555 will be a better all rounder. .
  2. Hi... I'm looking to add a new saw in the 50 - 60cc range. I like the look of the 555. Any reviews?
  3. Hi, All good advice... definitely view first. I would just like to add that to anyone selling equipment through similar sites, there are so many payment scams on the go at the minute its a minefield out there. I've had people very recently try to scam me with fake credit card and paypal payments. Cash is king at the moment (where possible).
  4. Hi. I would like a price range for standing timber, going to look at about half an acre of mixed wood at the weekend. I would think mainly spruce and beech/ash with good access. Also m3 or tonne? Thanks in advance.
  5. Had 3.1 which was great. currently have a 3.0 which is also great apart from the dreaded injector problems. Tows a heavy load really well. £ for £ unbeatable.
  6. All that information and he can't tell us what model the saw is !!! Love it ......
  7. Spend an hour looking through all the old threads on here. That should answer your q's. And until you get mechanised its very hard work.....
  8. Hi All, Don't know much about the 351, picked one up that is seized solid, is it worth fixing and keeping as a spare saw? Anyone had much to do with the cheap cylinder and piston kits on eBay? Just thought it might be a handy saw for a bit of logging / maintence work etc.
  9. I really would avoid a cheap saw. A used Stihl or husky is your best bet. Your local dealer may have a trade in that they have serviced ready for sale. However I have seen new makitas & dolmars at a very good price on eBay.
  10. hi i have a kindling m/c and based in north lancs would consider hireing it out if interested you can get me on 07763013024 regards gary.

  11. Hi, I would like to hire a kindlet or similar for 1 week max. Preferably up North to reduce haulage costs, thanks.
