  1. cheers for all the info! will deffinatly stay on DRT untill i am proficiant at that then will consider looking at an SRT. Ryan
  2. got a retreval ball sorted, was planning on all the small bits such as carrytools ect at a later date, just need a kit to start placticing moving around a tree more, becoming more confident and skilled aswell
  3. yeah have all tickets up to CS40, have been in a petzl so am happy with how they feel, still need to try a tree motion though
  4. hey guys, looking for a bit of advice, am looking at getting my own climbing kit when im back from working in vienna, have been looking at getting Petzl sequoia SRT harness 45m orange tacheon, one splice hitch climber rapide with 8mm ocean polyester cord -- any better cords for tacheon rope? 5 x oval Krabs rope bag throw line, cube and bags ART ropeguide with cocoon -- any better alternatives? lanyard kit - 3m just wondering if anybody would change anything, add or remove anything, also any useful hits would be great! going to start regualarly practicing my climbing before moving into a work climbing role Cheers Ryan

  11. Ordered of amazon last night! I have used both before of a mates, just wondered the popular opinion of which is better.

  13. looking at the gransfors axe and maul, there about 90 quid! may look for a slightly cheeper option

  18. hey, im on the fast track at pro climber at the moment! to be fair its been worth every penny to me, excelent instuction from the owner Andy and another guys chris, everything is well organised and the accomadation is top notch! im only 19 so the climbing and fintness havnt been to much of an issue, but the course is intensive and physically hard! if you need any other info, give andy or caroline a call at pro climber or feel free to PM me cheers Ryan
