  1. I'm guessing that's a tuff set of boots to fill! Maybe one day! Thanks Mike
  2. Thats great - many thanks. Eddiegts mentioned your name when I spoke to him on the phone earlier as you are close to me, I live in Hitcham. Anything you could throw my way would be greatly appreciated, be it advice, contacts or work. Thanks again. Mike

  6. Hi, My name is Mike and I will soon be leaving the Army after 23yrs of exemplary service. I will be embarking on a new career as a Tree Surgeon; and I shall be completing my 10 week Tree Surgeons course at Otley College, in April this year. I am a very young 39yrs old, and really want to keep some things in my working life which I have loved about Army life, that being; exciting – physical work, working in a team, working outdoors (in all weathers!), working hard and going home at the end of the day feeling satisfied. I have a clean driving licence and hold; B+E (any weight), C+E (any weight), F, G, H and K. During my time in the Army I spent 13yrs as a Plant Operator using Front Loading Shovels, Graders, Self Loading Trucks and JCB type tractors. As part of my military resettlement package I have £4000 in training credits to spend over the next 10yrs, and I would be willing put this towards courses which any future employer would like me to attend. Can send my CV to anyone interested and can be contacted on mobile 07788 735966 Thanks for looking Mike
  7. I've been using for ages some free software called 'any video converter' - there is all so an 'any audio converter' version. It's very simple to use, lets you easily convert to common formats, and it lets you easily rip video from youtube etc. If you google 'any video converter' you'll find it no bother; you can upgrade to a slightly better version, but there's not need - and all the upgrades are free. I've used some pretty expensive software as i'm a cameraman, and this is very good for a free bit of software. Hope this helps. Mike
