  1. Thanks for that advice,saved me a lot of wasted time.

Just gearing myself up for my first bit of milling and have a bit of dilema.Im wondering how you decide if you should just plank it up and hope it doesn't distort in time or quarter saw it and plank the quarter sawn sections.The quarter sawn pieces have less chance of twisting but you get smaller planks.And just how do you get set up to mill quareter sawn timbers ?
  3. We are in need of freelance climbers,ground workers and forestry ops inc tractor driver/forwarder to help cope with peaks in workload.There will be good opportunities for those who demonstrate good work ethics. Location-south of the humber up to lincoln and north of the humber to driffield.
