  4. Ouch! Its the horror stories like this that put me off hiring without an operator. Lycombe climber. Going by your profile I am out of your range. But just as a bit of market research. What equipment would you be after (winch etc)? And what would you be prepared to pay as a day rate with an operator? Pm me if you prefer. cheers.
  5. yes cheers. I wouldn't hire mine without an operator either. Only having one tractor if it was sidelined i'd be screwed.
  6. staffs a bit far. What sort of kit would you be wanting. obviously it would quite a big investment so I want to make sure the works there.
  7. I have a 35 hp compact tractor that I use for paddock maintenance. What other avenues of work could I use it for especially in winter. front loader grab with winch and hire out with myself to drive? chipper? any ideas welcome. Regards.

  9. from my experience they will ask a number of companies for a quote and the cheapest one will get it.
  10. also just to add I have tried the nfu for a rough price but they are useless unless you have the exact details.
  11. ok cheers thats not too bad at all. what do you think I could expect to pay for a 300cc bearing in mind I am 18(or will be by the time I get one)?
  12. Any Ideas as to what i should be paying to insure a honda 300cc? agricultural use. Im 18. Also Would pest control working mostly for farmers count it as an agricultural quad? Cheers.
