  1. wow! thats serious! i will do, i picked it up on friday and its still in the back of the hilux, more than one person has near broke there neck looking up at the spades in the air! bust weekend so it be tomorrow before i take it out, do boughton have a website? google is vague for me on this subject. i did have a guy come over to me and say if it was a cookes winch he would love to buy it ! i told him id write cookes on it !

  2. machine driver for 20 of 30 years ive a lot to learn, you look around for hazards when climbing, digger drivers cant see through the ground at our hazards. Every real job has pros and cons and varying experience, i would not judge anyone involved in heavy outdoor work as its easy to misjudge

  3. how long is a peice of string, once someone can work without being babysat is that not experienced????? if they were all singing all dancing with a telepathic sense to read your mind and do everything without being told there more than capable of going out on there own in business!

  4. 3 tonne toyota, bullet proof, not the most easy to feel but onceused to it youll love it, i drive a gas nissan 1.5 ton every day and think its great for loading light stuff but hasnt the grunt for heavy, uncle has the toyota, its a 3 tonne diesel serious grunt but hasnt the same feel

  5. thanks, i was putting the back plate ( beside the tractor mount ) being strained due to pulling as its not really that heavy... ill double check though, on the left hand side as looking from the back the round plate on the side of the winch doesnt look original, from google pics anyways

  6. yeah guy says fits ford 2000 or 3000 and a customer has a 2000 sitting in a shed a long long time with lift arm problems so it may be suitable! it spools freely, other than that what can i check, the engage lever possibly if i go to buy it, the brake is seized. he says it hasnt been used in 4 or 5 years
