  8. I got in touch with Electricity NW in the end who started a case, sounds like a process which will take a couple of months and they either fell the tree like was mentioned or sort out arrangements for us to do it.
  9. Thanks for the info, I'll make a call tomorrow. That was what I've always told clients when quoting for trees by power lines but this chap said they advised him to seek a private firm to do the work, either way i'm not to bothered because its an awkward dismantle.
  10. Who would I need to contact to undertake a job in Cheshire where the tree is running through electricity lines. My understanding is that they send someone out to monitor you and make sure you're working safely?

The position available is for a team leader predominantly leading a team of 2. You will have to have CS 30, 31, 38, 39 and first aid certificate as a minimum requirement.   24. Looking for a new stump grinder under 4K, think realistically I can only afford a 13hp one new, will these last the test of time? Im only grinding around 4 stumps each month at the moment but hiring each time is not suiting me anymore and I think if I had one I could push the stump grinding on a few more jobs as I only do it when requested at the moment. I've been using a Husqvarna SG 13 and a fair chunk of back muscle which is alright but was hoping other brands would be better, anyone any advice on other models or know any second hand bigger machines, although these will need to be pedestrian grinders also. Thanks
