    No I'm staying with this supplier he is really good. The post was from over a year ago when I was checking out prices but happy with him and planning to stay with him.

    Yea his prices are great and a great bloke. Just had a load of nets from him which is all ash Which is brilliant hardwood. Big thumbs up from me.

    I think may be last year that your right and some were softwood. This year its all ash and cherry so thumbs up I think for the price

    A year gone on now and I'm processing a lot of my own wood. Got moisture down to 18 . Still buying in wood as well to keep me top up and that is reading 20 on the moisture tester. So all good and a great start to the year

    the best i can do for hardwood is £1.60 for my small nets which are 400mm x 500mm and £2.20 for 500mm x 600mm size nets

    Well I bought 500 at the start of autumn and sold them and just had another 300 delivered but there not as dry as my first load and the wood is different. Before I had beech ash birch and now he said ifs oak but the bark is soft and its light in weight compared to birch. Yes I sell them on. Just concerned if a customer asks for hard and it turns out to be a soft wood. cheers

    Cheers for replies. One more question I'm pretty good on identyfying my wood but I bought some oak but the bark on this oak is soft I always belived it is would be very hard. Thanks again

    Well at the moment I'm paying 1.80 net and there is between 10 and 12 logs to net. Moisture content is between 18 and 26. Just concerned not all wood is hardwood he said it was.
