  1. We have a few different machines, not sure on prices or logistics as yet, but im sure we can work something out. For anyone interested please give Robin a call, he owns the business and will happily discuss with you. His number is 01234 376722.
  2. We have a few machines sat idle at this time of year, is there any interest from people wanting to hire out our machines? tentative enquiry really, just thought i would see what you thought?
  3. Thanks all for the input. We sell LOTS of soft, nearly all to the big distributors, but we have never really looked at selling to other smaller suppliers, hence the question on what price. We do hardwood, though mainly by the bulk bag, or this year tried a few in crates, but we have more spare capacity in softwood (who doesn't!) £1.50 per net seems a decent price to us. again, thanks for the feedback
  4. We have been in the processing business for a number of years, supplying some pretty large distributors. We now have capacity for more softwood logs in nets, and are thinking of supplying other firewood suppliers, if of course it makes sense at a price that suits all. So i suppose my question is, what price would it make sense for you guys to buy softwood logs in nets for?
  5. Bars. Though we could split, not as easy to weigh though once split.
  6. It would be weighed tonne as its coming off the loader.
  7. We have some (MJ Giddings near Bedford) If you collect we could do you some for £70 per tonne, Oak/Ash Mix. Bit pricey i know, but its nice stuff
  8. Hello All, been meaning to join for a while and finally got around to it. I work for M J Giddings in Bedford, been around the log supply industry for a few years now and it's nice to read your thoughts and views.
