  1. good man Rob, i've been checking out these milling posts and my desire to buy one has been steadily growing, with an attiude like the one you've shown here i'm looking forward to purchasing one from you sooner rather than later...(just not today )
  2. ok so sorry if this sounds stupid but what is shake?
  3. thanks. yeah the mushroom was my first and the shell me second. been using saws for nearly ten years though so its not like i just picked one up and went for it, only thing i've done before is probably like most arbs ( i.e. turning a stump into a plain highbacked chair )
  4. thats it i'm hooked here is my finished mushroom ( well finished with the saw at least ) and i couldn't wait till next month so i got straight into the shell any tips for drying these out so they dont crack too much would be great, the beady eyes out there will of spotted they are of cherry so i cant hang around too long before sanding and treating. guess i need to get me a sander and some treater then just using a back handled 200 at the min but i think i'll be purchasing some proper carving tools before i get into the more complicated third piece. good luck all who are giving this a go, (except tommy haha). lee.
