  1. Presumably you get a rougher finish with the chains?
  2. What horsepower have you got available?
  3. Yes, I spoke to him some while back. Didn't gleen an awful lot. They are reassuringly expensive, and European made (Spain I think). If I remember correctly, I think you have to have a different spinning thing for chains and blades. That's about all I know I'm afraid
  4. I've been looking at those too John. No advice I'm afraid, just thought I'd let you know.
  5. I can't quite zero in on what you actually think is happening Hairychest. On one hand you appear to be saying that the scientists are just alarmists and false prophets, concocting a false narrative of human induced climate change in conspiracy with some group of political elite. In a different mood you appear to be saying that human induced climate change is not only very real, but positively mandated by the Man/God hybrid that wants to burn fossil fuels to produce 'it's' own idea of plant heavy Eden. Could you please set me straight. I am very confused.
  6. Did your modes of transport add or subtract from your enjoyment of your holiday?
  7. You virtue signal away Billhook, that is incredible! What are you not doing to get such a low result?
  8. Don't be too hard on yourself J. It makes a big difference what you are driving your gas guzzlers to do. Worth us all bearing in mind though that the limit the WWF calculator sets (around 10 tonnes per annum) will only limit the effects of climate change to catastrophic.
  9. Foreign holidays are something that makes life worth living for a lot of people. I can see that it might be counter productive to cut those out. A lot of flights are business flights, so that people can meet face to face to do deals. This is understandable, but surely now we have the tech to carry out this function in a less ideal but workable remote fashion?
  10. Appreciate your candour there Hairychest. There is a tiny sliver of commonality in our world views, based around one aspect of your thoughts on conciousness. I struggle with the rest to be honest. Probably best debated on a different thread.
  11. Yup. A really detailed questionnaire would presumably offset some of that fuel against the Wood product you produce and the increased forest growth yield you generate.
  12. The national psyche summed up perfectly there Mesterh.?
  13. Were you particularly high in any one sector?
  14. 7.1 tonnes for me. Food was the killer.
  15. Wow! Why didn't God just create the World he wanted in the first place? Could have saved a whole heap of bother.
  16. I don't understand how it can come across like that? Firstly Worldwide sinister political plays don't happen, and secondly it would be a very bizarre self promotion ploy for politicians to piss off all their citizens, which is effectively what they are having to do. Conspiracy theories are silly. Human beings are terrible at keeping secrets.
  17. World governance it is then? Or no habitable World? It's looking pretty stark. Great post by the way!
  18. There's definitely a strong correlation between 'devout' Christianity and climate change denial in the States. Less so elsewhere I would guess.
  19. Not sure that post makes sense, but it's funny!
  20. Not sure that veganism is a heritable trait.
  21. You don't have to give it up, just eating less meat is hugely beneficial.
  22. Fantastic! Just shave off another 0.2 (or more) and you're on target.
