  1. i already do complain, its called jealousy
  2. i can but my old man works with them, if i go he will lose out on work until they get a new climber. so i cant just leave them.

  9. tell me about it im on nothing compared to the numbers we've discussed, so frustrated its untrue im just waiting to find out about another company if there going to employ me, if not im going to go total freelance and leave them behind, i originally used alot of my own climbing gear, but only my harness now a days
  10. i guess its just going to be a case of wait and see. would't fancy taking down a dead eucalyptus in some old dears back garden.
  11. Ah good, we manage a eucalyptus experimental woodland that has damage wouldn't be very experimental if it all had to be cut down, though would learn not to plant the dam stuff.
  12. I've noticed as the last couple of months have advanced that there are a lot of eucalyptus that seem to be dying i guess because of the harsh start of the winter. Im just wondering if they are likely to re-shoot or just die completely.

  15. Im a freelance contractor who has been working souly with one company for the past 3 years, im wanting to figure out what the average contractor gets now a days.

  17. finally got a map of our area, the site that we're working on is just outside the sssi so should be able to use the tractor and winch. thanks for your suggestion most appreciated.
  18. its a very well know woodland, there are horses already working in other parts of the woodland at the moment, would they be able to pull a tonne, though i suppose the best way to find out is to ask the owners.
  19. the timber firm want them at 7, have a slight down slope with some large holes where i guess root bowls use to be.
  20. Working on a triple s i in Nottingham, there are 46 sycamore that we need to move to ride side/ collection point cut at 7 foot, some of the bottom trunks may weigh up to a ton. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  21. On Friday 4th February, I had a load of saws taken from the truck on my drive in Birmingham. They are: two 200ts, a Husqvarna 346xpg, Makita 7900, Stihl bg86 c-e, a small Petzl Sequoia SRT Harness no markings on it though wasn't loler'd, most of this was new from the apf, so would be very happy if anyone has heard of anything going around.
