Very nice video posting. Sadly the more things change the more they stay the same.
I truly wonder how much longer UK politics can support its self before a total collapse occurres
Silly jokes and verbal jousting aside.

Theres no need for demolition, its "facelift" work thats led to the danger. The cladding needs replacing with the correct product/system.
Sprinklers may need retrofitting, but these have been offered to tenants before, but they have been rejected by some. They don't want the disruption there fitting would require, plus they fear the damage they could do when somebody burns the toast or lights a fag. I guess the recent tragedy will have made most more favourable to there fitting.
Sadly if the tenants feel inconvenienced due to installation of fire sprinklers all the more need to demolish every building. Bring all buildings up to code.
If the tenants are still willing and able to complain about new buildings for living it won't matter. By bringing all buildings to code prevents years of litigation and more than likely save thousands of lives in the future. It's the right thing to do. Stop making excuses and fix or prevent the problems in the first place.

Just heard that mass evacuations were taking place in London due to unsafe buildings.
Nearly proactive. I hope these buildings are demolished ASAP, any and all other structures that are not to code brought to code or demolished as well. No point debating the obvious unless your a total moron. Sadly lots of them seemly run the UK local and national governments.

Eggs, I can understand your frustration when it comes to people in their teens or 20's. If I attemp to engage people male or female about history in my country much less world history they not only could care less they basically think I am an inigma or so much smarter than they could ever become. I don't hold their lack of knowledge against them since they are a product of the dumbing down of American society as a whole. Just a lot more annoying here since we have so many more masses of asses that can only think about themselves and no one and nothing else matters.

I brought back a 560xp and a 192t. Sold the 560 when i got back and the profit paid for the 192t. It was a few years ago the the exchange rate was better.
The best way to do it is buy it online from US and get it shipped out of state (within the US not back to UK, if shipped to UK you will get stung with import duty), then you will even save on state taxes. Certain states its the responsibility for the consumer to pay the tax rather than the seller.
Actually the seller collects the sales tax from the customer and than sends it to the state revenue department. This would be the same policy for nearly every state that has a state sales tax. I have been told that when purchasing in the US to ship abroad like the UK if under the customs declaration the item is stated as a gift there would be no customs and duties due?. I have tried this to Canada and the results have been 50/50.

I agree with Ted. Whoever was responsible for signing off the cladding of those flats in flammable material should be jailed. People have lost everything through the negligence of others. They deserve a place to live. Have a heart.

Thanks Mark. These victims don't need a hand out, they need a hand up and to be made whole. This situation can never happen again in your country. Your citizens deserve better.

Absolute bollocks.
How so?. So much cheaper and maintaining the appearance that the government really cares a lot!

Richard, I don't give a jot for what anyone pays for a flat. What other people have got is of no interested to me.
My point is, how broken society as become.
I don't know many folk that could afford those flats, do you?
And more to the point, why are they stood empty?
Maybe they stood empty waiting to be filled by man made disasters like the one that killed so many so needlessly. Honestly if some shotty work ever took place here in the States like the building in London catching fire, there would be some serious time in a federal penitentiary taking place for many guilty persons.

Other than free housing for the families or victims will the recipents be able to sue in court against the owner of the building? Seem way to little to late. I believe the current PM missed some golden opportinties and made some really stupid mistakes since the election to the present.
I believe she could have proposed a time limit of 120 days to either update all buildings in the UK to prevent future disasters from occurring in the future or after 120 days has passed and no fire suppression systems were either installed or hazardous building materials removed, all building would be condemned and or destroyed. The cost would fall upon the owner of the building weather it be public or private housing. My two cents,
I have returned!

I recommend sacking your existing service provider and finding a new one. Change your user name and all of your passwords ASAP. Get into the habit of changing your passwords for all of your accounts on a regular basis.

Exactly the info I was looking for - thanks Slim.
I googled Asulux and the results came back that it will kill bracken, however it was banned by the eu. I would confirm with your local government authority and confirm. Probably another good reason to be out of the eu:thumbup1:

Depending on surface area and the size Tank I suppose you could spray thousands.
The only problem is after the first hundred or so with no previous experience you will start to peter out pretty quick. If this is a one off situation I say try the manual pump method.
Otherwise buy a motor operated model and work smarter not harder.

If the soil is poor the survival rate of the shrubs and trees shall be in jeopardy.
If there willing to make the investment take 4 to 6 soil samples for testing and amend accordingly. I hope you get the job and before and after pictures would be really nice to see.

My work is my passion. I was presented with an opportunity to make and sell my products and travel the world meeting people willing to work smarter instead of harder. Really has been a wonderful life and work experience.

I am still trying to find the exchange between myself and Tony. For now as far back as I can research all threads with Tony and myself no longer exist on my home page. I will continue to research by way of the internet/CSPAN

Obama/Curious George T-Shirt Draws ProtestsHere's the Washington Post's reporting on an aspect of the CG/Obama thing.
Let's be honest Ted, it's clear what your point of view is, Tony Sorensen (late of this parish and much missed) pulled you up on this a good while back, but obviously it gives you such a buzz to write it you brought it out again.
Sadly along with Tony Sorensen you still don't get it. Tony actually quoted some obscure English law telling me I could not compare the POTUS to a cartoon character. It was not until I watched CSPAN one day to see a member of parliament compare the current POTUS to this same character that I knew Tony's argument was shallow and without any merit. I do not know the reason for the member of parliament to use this characters name. I am pretty sure it is not the same as mine. BTW The Washing Post is a waste of paper and ink. Biased to the hilt and not worth wrapping a dead fish in.

Explain it then, I'm 53 and unlikely to watch a child's cartoon for your benefit. If you can't be bothered at 53 you can't be bothered at all. My benefit really has nothing to do with your understanding of my point of view.

I did not read the full articles but it's from us based media. How does it not cover my subject matter? I said people can't afford health care those links say the same(at least on the surface!)
How is it squed?
Or is the healthcare the best in the same way the gun laws help protect people?
Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
It's squed because it leaves out many important matters that are not included.
My countries gun laws once again have served my countries needs both foreign and domestic for over 200 years, and also served and protected your country through two world wars. You could waste your time about my countries gun laws if you want to, just don't bother with me.

Of course I understand, Obama is African-American so you liken him to a monkey.Wrong again, at least your consistent. Try watching the series if you care to learn or even attempt to think you know what I am typing about.

The use of capital letters to signify a brand would help. But as English (presumably) isn't your first language, no biggy.
A googling will reveal Curious George is a reference to Obama, a cartoon monkey.
Stay classy Ted.
Presume as you wish. Lower case for the size of the cartoon character. Since the cartoon character is an American Icon I actually can not expect you to understand the meaning or reference.

That's ok. I was not really expecting anything less.
