  1. I had the same problem until i found a cheap 3pl crane. We dont use it every week but when we do its a massive time and back saver!! Problem is i cant tow the tractor trailer with the crane on so we have to take two tractors out!
  2. Ive recently bought my first tractor and im looking out for a decent size pto chipper for it. My tractor is 95hp and we have a 8" road tow so looking for something a little bigger, or at least letterbox. Can anyone suggest any specific make or model? My budget is 2-3k and im not bothered what it lookes like as long as it works! Oh and side feed would be great so i can tow with it Thanks
  3. Short video of me speedlining a sycamore over a garage, im new to videos so its not edited.. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Trumk4-F7M]Charlie Batten (Down To Earth Tree) - YouTube[/ame]
  4. Hi, ill try and be brief with this. When we're feeding brash into the chipper it seems to be butting up to something before it hits the fly wheel. So you have to take it out trun it round and try again, very annoying. I have changed the anvil as the one that was on was too short, but it doesnt seem to have solved the problem. I wonder if the bottom roller might need building up as it is a very old machine. Has anyone else had this kind of problem? The chipper is an old 8" eurogreen turntable pezzalato. Any help would be awesome as its soooooooooooo annoying!!!!
  5. Thanks, used my gopro hero suction cuped to the roof of the truck!. Ill be doing plenty more i think i need to set it to take more photos so its smoother and longer
  6. My first time lapse video from todays job. Its short but shows what we did! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gwe0stfjsow]YouTube - Down to earth time lapse[/ame]
  7. Find the nearest skip and lob it all in there!
  8. Cool, ill get selling some logs to pay for one then!
  9. At least thats what we were told it was! We've been doing it up to use as our main chipper and its almost done. Had a battle with parts as no one seems to know anything about it. Really hoping someone on here might know something about them or have some pictures of them when they were new!?! Great 8" turntable chipper, just looks a bit old...
  10. Finally got the box finnished today, just in time for a full days chipping tomorrow! looks like it will hold a fair bit and i dont think it looks too bad. Made it so its only a couple screws to take off and it can be removed easily.
  11. Thanks for the replys guys, yeh my mistake, i realised after i'd posted that i put 126, its a 105t. I built a box yesterday so ill get some pics up. Think ill get the mesh sides at some point soon though
  12. Hi, I recently got myself a 126T IforWilliams tipper and im wanting to build a removable chip box. Has anyone done this? if so some info and pics would be really useful. We've used it a coule of times already to chip into but just stood some old boards up but it looks a bit rough. Some pics for ya....
