  1. Try NFU Mutual at your local office.
  2. You could clear and psray off initially, the best way to manage bramble however is through shade. They are shade intolerant, try and keep a semi-closed canopy if they are in a woodland setting. If they are in the open then I suspect pigs maybe the best way to clear it.
  3. Your opinion should stand scrutiny and you should have professional indemnity insurance which, often, specifies the level of qualification. Basically level 3 Arb and above.. You could also get someone with more experience so check it over and enter: Checked by....... at the end of the report. Tony.
  4. Good points from Bundle 2, remember your audience when writing reports. Keep it concise, loads of appended 3998 and 5837 info baffles and usually ends up in the bin. Most LA tree officers will tear out the info they need and bin the rest.
  5. Fantastic link, thank you, Halfords socket sets, I have had one for a number of years and not broken anything.

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
