    I've used Jensens for over 18 years, the older machines were bomb, the newer incarnations, unfortunately are not of the same build quality.

    We have a TR6 and its a thoroughly well thought out and put together machine, far better build quality than Jensen and infinitely better than TW.

  15. LM2 Mill $25,725 + De barker $2,850 + Shipping and Insurance $4,150= $32,725 or approx £20,842 plus VAT of course, according to HMRC this is zero rated for import duty?? I would need to clarify this though! Jonathan, if your serious about ordering one drop me a pm, i dont know how many you can get in a shipping container but we might be able to save a few quid!
  16. Has anyone seen an LM2 in operation or aware of any in the UK. Looks the business on youtube but the lack of a potential UK assistance should things go awry is a little offputing, but then again at almost half the price of the equivalent mizer it does sound good value..anyone have an idea what shipping cost might be from the US?

  19. Thanks Guys, more food for thought, basically it was a toss up between Timberking and Woodmizer LT40 but i will check out the other american maufacturers, and as im in no hurry (this is a summer project) it wont bother me to much that theres a 3 month waiting period for an American macine!!

Hi, I am seriously considering purchasing a mill, but which one?? its going to be fairly busy as I have tons and tons of good joinery / furniture quality hardwood (ash and Syc) and even more softwood (Larch and Douglas) that i want to covert into structural timber..any suggestions as to what is the best value fully hydraulic saw out there??
