  1. Aye got it in one was my employers fault either way with any rear shunt. taxi driver set off at lights no indication banked it to the left at last minute Navarra locked up in wet slid and tapped him at less than 15 mph navarra fell apart in a heap of plastic and front end bits taxi had silver scratch on bumper lol.

Ill chuck some pics up in next few days when get on pc.It's roomy enough with seats out plus has locking rear diff.Either way it works stops and starts just drinks diesel sadly

  2. Navarra dead pretty much wee front end shunt into an asshat taxi drier

Found cheap lwb shogun 2.8 for 340 quid new front tyre found in scrappy for free, cv boot and bit of home exhaust fabrication and it's now MOT'd.owes me less than 500 squidberrys should do for now

  3. Aye most defo a touch ruthless,I was irrate for all of ten mins then realized ah well guess I'm taking enough sales to worry others Into underhanded shenanigans (she's a trainee hairdresser) as mentioned everyone and there do is off trying to sell logs up here lol

same with tree jobs lately aswell put sensible price on job guarantee a gardener or handyman will be out week after waving his electric saw and bowesaw around for 30 quid lol.

If it carries on another month I'll be folding for my own sanity lol

  4. It's died a death up here this year at present only wholesale orders keeping me ticking over. Not a place wanted to be in month away from Christmas :S

Everyone and there dog is doing logs now tho,Even had some rival selling plastic sacks of logs ringing my customers telling them she can undercut me!

It's all got bit underhanded and I'd be happier in a other trade I think.

Hope everyone else is still kicking butt and taking names :)

  5. this year has been nightmare with rain and sourcing timber is getting more and more difficult.I've just bought a massive supply off a Gypo sellig it at 30quid a bulk bag for hardwood cut and split if wasn't for that this year I'd have no hardwood.

I stopped using my powered splitter and returned back to hand splitting to try keep overheads down. The farmers with all the diversification grants are snapping up volumes of timber locally and forcing the firewood merchants out, just can't compete on there scale makes my blood boil, who is bailing us forest and tree lads out eah? No bugger.

I'll keep going for as long as I can as still making okey profit but it's beaten spirit out me this year, every other week said I'm gonna fold.

  6. More likes the more features you can use, plus any traffic is better than no traffic as it does increase exposure

when back on pc I'll like or add you fellah.

Facebook has proven to be a valuable ally in my advertising arsenal

Just won some free advertising on there due to passing 50 likes lol

  7. only legally beats it in capacity, problem is land rover never built anything with any pulling power even the td5 in standard fettle needs its nipples ringing to make it move with any weight on back. The d22 has had some seriously frightening weights on in wet mud never got stuck, talking 4 ton cod on trailer minimum....Don't get me started on the new navarra tho absolute poor excuse of 4x4 off road.

still rather use the series 2a any day if it didnt cripple me in fuel bills. i love and hate land rovers in equal amounts ha ha.

  8. took an order for 3000 nets this week, just as my shoulder decides to tear and separate! been rammed with firewood all year.Finding enough wood to keep going is becoming my biggest issue.Seems every hobby farmer, landscaper, builder tom dick or harry wants to think there playing Mr woodchuck by buying up every damn truck load of wood going.Beginning to get on my nerves to be honest. But hey ho onward we go :)

  9. Pro protectors are hit and miss lately I had a pair that sole separated in six month.Comfy from box waterproofing great but soles were bald and hanging off in under a year.My advice would be go for kilma air Tirol fighters or whatever name they are. With good bit beeswax on they have never faile me in heavy downpours yet,and are as tough as tanks.Much lighter and more breathable than haix plenty support, lacing system pulls tighter and the soles are still brand new looking, they refuse to wear down!

  10. road plaining without heavy base layer of hardcore will do just the same, also any planings or rubble now needs an exemption to go on agri land as road, something to do with hazardour waste etc :S.

For it to not sink you will need to build the road up higher than the original path by good foot whacker plate it all down and keep going till its solid. isn't a small job.Im in process of re building my lane to my yard

  11. full system now on nav d22,gobs more power quite ridiculous actually it will annihilate most hot hatches, and it sounds the dogs danglies.full 100 cell sport cat and 3 inch stainless system for under 200 quid if anyone wants the company info let me know.
