  1. Thank you, you are one of the few people i can relate to, I totally agree with you, as for the feel good factor well, lets just say not everyone on here helps make you feel good some just put you down, left, right and centre, even though they have never met you, most likely will never meet you, but yet they can still stereotype you. but not all of us are the same some do work hard to try and start to get into the line of work they have chosen to study, and not to boast, but im one of those people, anything i earn goes back onto my studies one way or another, e.g. fuel to get to uni, or stuff i need for uni, so i wish people just would think and not just assume.
  2. lol that actually cheered me up but im 20 and don't have spots
  3. thanks i shall have a read thorough to see what i need to brush up on Thanks for advice
  4. hi there, Thanks for your advice, im currently studying the level 3 extended diploma in arb and forestry and have completed the level 2 diploma in arb and forestry, i have been shown how to use a chipper etc, but thank you for your concern, i have done work a while back for a small arb company but he moved to Australia so i couldn't carry on. if im honest doing that bit of work for that company for a few months did get me interested in this line of work and so i thought you know what im going to go and study it, i have never looked back once or regretted it i really enjoy it and don't think i will ever change my mind at all . as for transport i do have it and a full UK license post 97 though , but i do have my own 4x4 to get around so that should go in my favour, and soon in a few weeks i'm hoping to be able to go and do my cs30 and cs31 so that should help i hope Thanks for your advice though and i shall take it on board
  5. Thank you

  11. hi there your link is dead
  12. Thank you for your help it is appreciated and you didn't do what others seem to do and that is shoot a student down before he started to fly.
  13. i try to pay my tuition fees by doing garden jobs and have been doing so for a few years, i just wanted to try and get a bit more cash than what i earn from doing these small jobs every week.
  14. excuse me what do you think i have been doing sat on my arse doing nothing, i have references from previous people i have done work for, i work hard i don't go out and spend my money apart from food and fuel to get to uni to study something i want to do as a career. i realise things are hard and i have been searching for work for months not minutes not all students are the same going out and getting pissed etc, some of us work bloody hard to get a good job for life.
  15. Hi there, Thats not what it is i'm trying to say im sorry if this post read that way, i was just trying to get a rough price for the NPTC cs30 and cs 31, whilst saying i have been trying to find work, Lots of people seem to think that students (like me) are scroungers and do nothing to try and find work but most of us do, but the problem is when you do try to find work you cant get any at all. I realise things are tough for everyone, it is quite bad for students as well as like myself we try to stand on our own two feet to fund things such as the cs30 and 31, but people will not employ as you don't have them, this then puts us into a loop as we need some money in order to pay for the units, but cant get it, then we cant get the work because we cant afford the prices without a source of income. sorry if i sound cocky or anything else Thanks again
  16. Hi all, Despite me putting a post on here requesting part time work to help fund my studies, and only getting 1 response, and this response advised me to get my cs30 and cs31 tickets, i would like to know how much these cost and what is involved in these i.e what cuts will the assessor ask me to do etc also if you can help me find a part time job please do pm me Thanks in advance:thumbup:
