  1. Thanks sloth, never really thought about the sap run off. Only ever noticed it when knocking them over
  2. Ha it may be a removal after all then! The sap ran a bit after taking off a large limb on left hand side.
  3. Good Evening, heavy reduction on this Silver Birch today. Customer want 50% off! They had just had solar panels put on roof, but didn't want to loose the tree. Told them it wouldn't be pretty, but I don't think it turned out as bad as I originally thought. Open to criticism! Cheers, Simon.
  4. Thanks! I'll try all of those tomorrow.
  5. yeah the revs take a little while to drop down to normal, which is causing the chain to spin
  6. Hi Spud, the chain isn't running on when idle, it only runs for a little while after releasing the throttle and only when its warmed up. So you think it might need some adjustment on the L screw? I'm not totally tech savvy when it comes to the inner workings of a saw.
  7. Thanks for all the replies, i think it must be a tuning issue, I'll take it to my dealer an see if they can sort it.
  8. Mmm I dont think its that, its more like the revs arent dieing down to idle straight away, so the chain still runs for a little while. Saw has had very little use so they shouldnt be worn.
  9. I recently got a 362, its probably had 4 or 5 fills run through. I've noticed that after cutting for maybe an hour or more the chain will continue to spin after easing off the throttle. The chain isnt slack, it seems like its still revving up a bit. Any thoughts?
  10. Looking for ground or climbing work, have own PPE, climbing kit, cs30,31,38,39. Hard working and not afraid to put the hours in! Can be contacted on here or at [email protected], 07534413928. Cheers, Simon
  11. oh dear, opened a can of worms here! Not really tried husqy much, the 346xp seemed nice, but don't like the look of some of the bigger ones.
  12. Thanks for replies, think 660 may be out of price range, but will look into it. Yeah I know FR Jones have some good prices, though I thought they wouldn't ship a saw, unless its a 'known' customer
  13. Hi, fairly new to here , wanting to get a new saw. Something that can handle a 20" or 25" bar. Will mainly be used for some felling and logging up. I have looked at the ms391, any good? Can get for £550 at a dealer near me, not really wanting to spend much more than that. Any recommendations? Cheers
  14. I see theres no mention of the excellent cameraman!
