i dont find it any slower, original thoughts were that it might have a lot of vibes, again couldnt tell the difference between skip or full
-
yep, i got mine from the states, 28" full skip, delivered £26.00, means if my big saw breaks down,i can run 28" on my 372 comfortably
-
they will be fine in a shed/ garage if they are wrapped up well, i wouldnt water them at the moment, in case frost gets them, if you have any hay or straw around, whack some in around the roots if you want to go belt and braces
-
anyone got good/bad points
looking at the pro 22186, looks tough and basic, not keen on the auto-drive, looks like a load of hassle if it goes wrong:confused1:
-
get a 28/30" and a skip chain, cheaper than a new saw
-
the bit about if you roll a quad, you die
-
having had both i would comment as follows
if it is a deisel mule then it burns nothing in way of fuel compared to pectrol quad
if you carry passengers mule
if you dont like trailers and all your gear getting mud splattered go for mule
steep up hill mule very stable
steep doun hill scary as when you lift foot of trottle the variable speed pulley goes into neutral and it time for new y fronts.to go down safely you nee to use low box and full throttle (can be scary too) except for the kubota which has hydrostatic gearbox so you have engine braking .quads are better going down but not so comfy.
a mule has the turning circle of a landrover!!while a quad is a lot tighter, unless you are chasing sheep this might not matter.
if you roll a quad you die ,while in a mule you might survive.
quads get nicked a lot more than mules
mule has a roof windscreen and doors (sometimes)and in minus 10 they are a lot better than a quad or in the rain.
i am sure 9i missed a few but there is some food for thought

150MM Overlap
yes mate, good customers are worth keeping, had a few bad experiences over the years,so burnt those bridges, just keep my regular half dozen or so now, 10 plus years for them,a few 16 years, cant complain
-
very good customer, will have 7 sites by july , always good payers and unlike a lot of customers, these people actually listen and take advice from me,so good to keep in with them and vice versa

straight runs are 2.4 m wide
ive added 10% to materials, i do a lot of work for the company that needs the liner installing, just an infill job at the moment until the site is ready for me to do annual maintenance contract, starting april
-
900 m2 ,mixture of small rectangle beds and 2 x 85 m straight runs, 2.4m wide, pegs and liner come out at £1.63 m2 for heavy duty
-
need to quote to lay liner underneath bark beds.
i have to quote only to lay the liner,i have gone with £1.00 per meter to lay it ,and £1.63 to supply liner and pegs.
have i just shot:thumbup myself in the foot with this quote:thumbup:

i always say that if they could do the job themselves then they would, if they are paying someone to do it for them, they cant, charge for every bit of time that you spend doing the job for them

i had to make an octagonal deck, i made a scale model from battens for the frame and then replicated in in full size, turned out great
-
gonna say that fence is pretty poor, no proper strainers that i can see, pop the staples out and fell on top of the wire, if you drop the wire right back , say 75 m, it shouldnt stretch , if you smash a post, they are only a couple of £ a go
-
can a self employed person work just solely for me on a self employed basis ?
as long as he/she do their own accounts and fund their self employment/business, do hmrc have issues with this:confused1:
-
Those poly decks are bombproof, any of the aforementioned machines are great, but like others have said 65kg is lumpy, i have ramps up into the van for my sarp 19"
-
nice collection of orange, is that a 385 at the front
-
that being said, if i had to cut a 30" say beech or oak at double bar length, i would not want to do it with a 40cc saw , id be looking 60cc at least for grunt and speed
sorry to confuse op
