  1. Yes but it's not against the law to class someone as you your or your lot even. I don't think she was discriminating anyone. I am surprised the thing with a child got of the train alive.

All I can say is poor child, It seemed to me that she was using the child as a shield.

  2. Because what she said isn't against the law, she was making a point she was being racist.

"We come here to do work that you wont", "YOU" meaning white people, to me that is discrimination against white people. And I,m not standing up for the horror with the gob.

  3. It was interesting that the black woman said "we come come here to do work that you won't"

Who are "you"? all white people???

While we have people living separately and having a "them and us" mentality, there will always be problems.

I agree, and if the drunken off her head woman is on remand, why is the coloured woman not being charged for her discriminating comments???

  4. pete, dosnt thrupp, or what ever called come in to play ??,they get transferd to who ever takes over the contract ,as in the yedl/nedl contract ,those that worked for t/h now/will work for fountains/entreprise

From what I,m told, the lads that worked on the UKPN contract for Fountains will certainly not be transferring to BTS, (rates of pay are just too low to earn any money.)

  5. You may think this sounds daft, but try having a least 1 banana a day, thats what my doctor told me when I was suffering from leg cramp every night. Apparently its the potassium in the bananas that helps but dont go mad and eat too many because that can also not do you any good.

  6. The unreliability of landrovers compared to other stuff is one of the biggest myths around, purported by thise whio have bought knackered ones cheap, or havent looked after them properly. The thing is that landrovers are so much more capable than any other 4x4, so they get far more abuse, so appear to be unreliable. Now a load of people will now come on here and say I am talking crap, but I have had several landrovers, and also jap stuff, and I would NEVER go back to the flimsy japanese/ ford stuff again, because it is less reliable than my current landrover, and HIDEOUSLY expensive to repair.

In my experience, people who denegrate landrovers are often thiose who couldnt afford a decent one too, or have had one bad experience. Most of the jap crap is okay because it has never really done anything tough enough to break, or even dirty it.

Get the most expensive defender you can buy, there is no such thing as a cheap one, unless you buy an already knackered one.

    I,ve got to agree 100%:thumbup1:

  7. Just thought i say that my truck was stolen a few hours ago and thanks to Skytag it was recovered in 11 mins with 2 low lifes hiding in a hedge near by. just shows how vital trackers can be. This was from chapletown south yorkshire.

Excellent, do you have a contact number because I have a 110 and a 130, it would break my heart to loose either of them. I have recently been looking at having a tracker fitted on them both but theres that many out there I dont know which to choose, always better to have a company recommended.

  8. This thread is about respect, not your opinion on the circumstances!

    Very sad news. RIP.

Yes, the news is sad, he was a great bloke ,RIP,but I feel for his Wife & two children, I did,nt mean to sound disrespectful in any way but when you have the experience of losing someone close to you to a disease like cancer and they wanted to live more than anything, and put up a battle for four years, it leaves kind of a bitter taste in your mouth when someone takes their own life.

  9. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5EIY5DhS80]115ft Rope Jump Conisbrough - YouTube[/ame]

Just found this on youtube, I cant get my head round how they are jumping off a bridge with a rope without it snatching when it reaches full length.

  11. Hi

Some time this year i saw a training provider offering a combined CS40 and ua2.3 training course. Can't find them now though, does anyone know of anyone offering this?

    Thanks

BASE at cannock is where I did mine about 2 year ago. Depending where you are in the midlands it could be your nearest place.
