    Hi all really looking to get out of spraying cars and things and want to start a new career in arb Have no qualifications or experience but hard working and willing to learn dont care if i have to drag trees around wash your van make the tea whatever just really want to get out of all these chemicals

    I use AVAST on mine, Had norton it crashed out my computer and slowed it down and still let virus's in!! Downloaded AVAST within 3 minutes it had found trojans and all sorts Its free to download and in my opinion its the dog's dangles!! Never had a virus since and scans all your mail and the usual stuff

    yes mate thats the one, so your just paying a few quid extra for the stihl logo!!

    thought that would be the case the climbing one i was looking at quite expensive and the other's do look alot more stylish and cheaper!!

    hi started my level 2 yesterday and amazed how much i dont no!! Really want to get into the industry so thought i would take my level 2 in arb, but having no knowledge with working with trees think i've bitten of more than i can chew! Anybody near plymouth can offer me some work experience would be much appreciated to help me get some more in depth and hands on experience thanks

    Hi all, I currently starting my level 2 cert in arb and hopefully cs/nptc units to complement them Just wondering if there are any climbing clubs preferably tree climbing to give me some experience and see if i have a head for heights!! I've been up fairly high dangling of the cranes painting them in the dockyard but would not be the same as a tree blowing around in the wind Any help much appreciated Thanks Arran

    Hi all about to start my level 2 this thursday someone dropped out and has allowed me to enrol Really looking forward to some brain action as i've been unemployed over a month now after being made redundant All i need now is some practical on the job work now to help me start building a new career Hint Hint

    Hi all, Just been given some info that Silvanus trust here in cornwall are looking to take on 5 forestry apprentice's in the Devon and Blackdown area. I think i may be to old to be taken on as i'm 33 but might be of some interest for the younger peeps on here Click on link below The Silvanus Trust is working through partnerships to regenerate the woodlands in the South West for economic, social and environmental benefits Good Luck

    Been to St austell college today here in cornwall and they say that i can get the level 2 for free as i have no current level 2 awards apparently any adults who do not have any level 2 awards qualify for this?? Also said they would fund one of my cs/nptc units aswell, wish i knew that before i booked myself on a course!!

    The self study type you can start whenever you like and the college route started in september i have my name on list and would have to play catch up. College is once a week so hopefully some one will drop out. Lynher training here in cornwall do a similar course with just the basics and certificate of attendance which i was thinking of taking aswell to help me with the Rfs

    Thanks peeps for your replies, think i'll go the college route as i can ask the tutor and other students for advice if i get stuck on certain points of the course

    Hi all, I'm due to start my CS30,31 Soon and was looking into other courses to complement the practical side of it. I've seen the level 2 certificate which looks very interesting and will give me a fair amount of knowledge understanding how things work and so on. There are 2 options i have found, 1 home study (ABC) 2 College study at duchy college here in cornwall (RFS) Just really wanted any opinions and advice to which course to take? Thanks for taking the time to read

    Don't get me wrong i don't want to start my own business, want to get all my courses finished (what I've paid for by saving loads!!) So hopefully i can find work with an honest firm to make an honest living

    I have been looking into becoming a tree surgeon for a while now and have done alot off research into courses ect I have saved every spare penny i could so i can take my courses, and become a professional tree surgeon and even offered to work for free to gain more experience!! Its hard out there to find work but if u put your heart and soul into it and go the right way around it (not picking up a saw without the knowledge and understanding) Cant we all share the rewards??
