  1. Sounds about right!

Why? Because I changed my 13mm/3m wire core to a 11mm/4m and when no tension on the line would fall to to the end,so if you lean back on the wirecore you fall 4m !!

Just bought a new 13mm/3m from the arbshow, does slip a little when no tension on but not as much as the 11mm/4m

So a new wire is in order

  2. HI MARTY is it any good on long bars mate thanks jon

It's fine Jon,myself and Matt place (we have worked together many times) and we have been using it for a few years now and never had any problems, the oil in pic was used on Saturday to take down a large oak with a 20" bar on a 372xp sweet as a nut

  3. So is it safer to take a conventional rear handled saw up a tree to use in place of a topper?

Wonder if my 009 Stihl will be classed as a topper or rear handle -it is somewhere in between:001_rolleyes::lol:

The two stroke laws are getting really silly - a 737 can take onboard 20,000 litres of fuel and burn the lot on a long flight and the big nobs are looking at a small number of chainsaws running for a small period of time - the world is an ass IMO, someone needs to look at the bigger picture rather than hammering the easy targets!

i used to sub to a local tree surgery company steve, who were local to me and they did not own 1 top handle saw? all climbing work was done with the rear handle ms200 with no problems:001_huh:

  4. Well was think of next weekend if the weather stays gd all meet on Saturday or Sunday at culver house cross tescos in the mornin

dont want to sound rude, but if you read the thread from the start the meet and site have all been sorted,:001_huh:

its just the date needs to be sorted

    regards MARTYN:thumbup:
