  1. dangerous dead eucalyptus, not massive, but due to the 2 main stems with the risk of opening up,the quote was for half a days work:001_huh:

    strapped 2 limbs,job done 2 hours:thumbup:

would not say over priced, more luck than judgement, the job just went well for us

    sorry mark (bolam)

    could not resist..

its just been a good week, the job above, picked up a good nick jonsered 2165 for £150 and swapped a lorry load of logs for a woodbuner....

  2. good shout ed..

bought a used one a few yrs back (£150) well used and battered but cut awesome:thumbup:

    pity it got nicked:thumbdown:

to be honest these days i would not pay £500 for that, when i can get a 550xp from my local dealer for £485

    550 my next saw:thumbup:

  3. dont make your own...:001_huh: its not worth it

buy one,for the sake of £30 to£50,you get tried and tested one which is CE MARKED with a serial no!

if you had a accident using a home made one,you would be in the shat:thumbdown:

ive just bought a 11mm @4m from skyland, with vat and post came to about £50 but worth it

i was using a 13mm@3m with a ISC rope grab but the max rope size for the grab was 13mm,so when the flip line got sappy and the outer sleave gets a but fluffy and bobbly,it gets tight in the grab

  4. what are people views on this new husky saw compared to the stihl ms201t? impartial views please

as im wondering which 1 to get, as ive heard bad and good things with both and use the 201 alot.

    thanks lads

dont think there are many on the husky,as its not out yet..:001_huh:

  5. The main problem with the Husky combi can was the non-spill spout was utter crap and the orange plastic was too thick to see how much fuel you had left.

same here mr b,ive bought 2 non spill fuel spouts for the husky can@£10 a go..:blushing:

not this time though, just bought a harkie combi can (clear like the stihl)

    £28,i like it...
