  7. yeh it snapped right at the end of where it doubles back. are you still using your strop?
  8. end of story??? it was my equipment, i new the history. im a very experienced climber and i aint stupid and not gonna put my life at risk.
  9. yeah the strop is prob more than a few years old, it shouldnt of failed tho. anyway it passed its loler 6 months ago. it was a bit dirty but allweather climbing caused that. i aint a fair weather fairy:001_tt2: im still alive thats all that counts for you lot trying to turn it on me.

  11. no exposure to chemicals or saltwater. i dont have owt to do with either of them.

  13. just found loler cert, it ran out few weeks ago. im not contacting hse. im not seeking legal advice. i am just warning you all to ckeck your strops. i will try to get pictures up when i can. the strop has done a fair bit but i only use it when spiking poles so not everyday.
  14. dont no much about it. but if its like lockjack then ther is different cams for different ropes.
