  4. Yes that is for cat A's but have been to a few cat B's and C's which should have been cat A's but will hold my tongue before descending into a political rant!! Have not heard of celox I take it it is a clottting agent, probably made from potato starch? Mike.
  5. Hello I have a confession ..... I am not an arborist but I use a chainsaw, I am a paramedic. Interesting reading this thread. The thing is I have only been in the job for 20 years but have not seen that many arterial bleeds, but when one happens the ceiling and walls usaully need a good clean. From lurking on this site for a while now I get the impression that I would probably enjoy your company in a pub. It appears that most of you would at least have ago at doing something I do often feel somewhat frustrated when there is a small crowd standing around a corpse or seriously injured person doing f**k all (but they all have an opinion). If you do nothing (in an extremely serious situation) the person person dies. If you do SOMETHING we might have something to work with. Its not LAW that we arrive in 15 mins. We should arrive in an urban location arrive in 8 mins In a rural location its 19 mins, however, the response may be a fire engine , solo paramedic, community responder, dual technician crew or air ambulance etc... Cheers Mike
