As opposed to doing the traditional cut at the bottom and then from the top of the branch, do the cuts from either side (i.e. with the saw upright not flat).

I think it may be slime flux.
Any ideas for treatment??

Absolute no to vests
Hi vis when required but as a general rule no need in Mrs Miggins back garden

My wife and I have just come back from Greece where we were flagged down on the road by a couple in their late 20s with a babe in arms and a kid about 5. They were Belgian and it transpires that they had been for a walk along a valley and couldn't find the car park where they had left their car.... It took us about half an hour to find it going along the most horrendous donkey tracks masquerading as roads but we got them sorted in the end. To say they were grateful is an understatement.

If you don't do it already......
I find that doing the step cuts vertically as opposed to horizontally reduces the chances of premature breakage.
Give it a go and see how you get on.

I've got a par of the faxco adjustable tripod steps and they are quite frankly brilliant. I wonder now how I was able to do without them.
All legs adjustable and either 7"7ft closed extending to 14ft open or 8"7 closed extending to 16ft.

Eggs and Bobh, sad times indeed.
Try to remember how they made you laugh and the good times you shared together.

Go see Jonesy (FR Jones) in Sydenham, they have more goodies than you can shake a stick at.

See attached doc.
I've tried to explain as simply as I can but if I've missed any thing out or confused the issue let me know.
Its simple but a very good exercise. Remember, NO communication

That is fantastic news. Thanks for the update

Excellent shot. Good karma too.
Bloody good job you checked it out first.

Don't want to put a downer on your plans, but... we are pretty saturated with tree boys up here.
All the best.
P.s. cracking county to live in!

Same as mistabenn. Works for me and gives the groundy something to do....

Agree with the above, classic fire damage.

I thought this was a reference to the Proclaimers album. Brilliant stuff and worth a listen if you are not familiar with it.
I've just been out doing bits and bobs in the garden, good for the soul methinks!

I wouldn't do it for that money.

Hi Luke
Welcome aboard the good ship Arbtalk!

The Cutters and Climbers is on as part of the Game fair just outside Norwich on 26/27 April.
Usually a good laugh whether competing, watching, networking or just drinking beer. Mr Bullman had a stand last year, don't know but guess hell be along this year.

I've got no complaints with mine, really nice saw, had it for about 6 months now. Slightly louder than the 260 but currently have nothing negative to say about it. Time will tell as they say but I reckon its a goodun .......
