  1. This one's from Vancouver, cant see it on the pic but there was some crazy wavey lines going on never seen it before. sorry for quality of pic too.
  2. dissapointed with the major oak i mean or maybe just with how it has been treated

I went to sherwood forest about a year ago and i agree with paradise i think the major oak should be left alone, remove the supports and let it be. if i'm honest i was a little dissapointed, although i think the metal work adds to the character and is obviously a big part of the history of the tree.

  7. no not at all i'm just fascinated with big trees and would of liked to have seen pics and im guessing it wasn't far off the size of a house either haha. conifer job soounded fun haha
  8. i would of like to of seen that must have been huge (take it you dont have any pics) and in terms of infection nothing that i could see which is good, there was another chestnut about 30yard away not as big and that wernt showing anything either.

  10. Me and the misses found this little belter not long back over Scarborough way, thought i would share it with everyone. I've not climbed it yet but i am planning to. not that i have seen many but this is biggest one i have seen, any challengers?

Hello everyone, looking at getting a pair of Meindl airstreams was unsure at first as ive got haix protector pros and they have been very comfy and dont like change but i'm going to give them a go, anyway wonder if anyone has bought a pair recently and if they know whos selling them cheapest, ta very much.
  12. get out there mate, i worked in vancouver for a year aswell, amazing place and like jonny said lots of work. i managed to get a student visa n woked out at 150 canadian dollars not sure about a temp working visa though. definatly reccomend it though. they say its best place on earth and i sort of agree.
