Ok, Thanks for the replies Guys.....an hour with the flat file and they all sharp and pointy but the lack of profile/angle concerns me! Lol! Oh well, I'll find out tomorrow!

Hi Guys n Girls!!! I'm in a bit of a predicament and would like some opinions!!! My Swedish Boss (who has been climbing 20 years) today said 'Vicki...your spikes are ****! You need to take off the profile.' (as in have them as pointy and sharp as possible) When I asked the other British Climbers their opinion, the general reply was 'Are you mad, don't take off the profile...you'll kill yourself!!' So....What should a girl do??! All opinions much appreciated!!

Just thought i'd let you know that i've just been offered a full time contract with Amenity Trees!!! Thanks for recomending me on the job thread, I really appreciate it.
Hopefully i'll catch up with you guys soon and like I said to Matt, maybe we could sort out a bit of a jolly tree climbing one weekend??! Thanks again Ed! Vicki.

Hi all, I'm looking for groundwork or trainee climber work in the Manchester/Northwest areas. I have NPTC's 30/31/38/39 MEWP and Chipper also full clean driving license. I am ex Royal Navy and hard working. Recently i've been sub contracting, undertaking large site clearance also domestic work. Please PM me Cheers, Vicki

Ok guys, this may be a stupid qustion but i'm relatively new to this game so bare with me! I'm looking at getting a new helmet, either Stein or Petzel but unsure about the legalities (if any?) when it comes to colour. I climb and ground so can I use a black/grey helmet or does it have to be high viz???
