  1. PM sent buddy, good to hear from you
  2. Appreciate what you're saying, however, it's a lot of kit for 2 days a week use. Cost of running and insuring it, can't be justified anymore. I'd be working at a loss, hence deciding to sell up. Not an easy call by any means. So if you guys know anyone who's interested in the kit, please get in touch and we can discuss the ins & outs.
  3. 76AR, empty your in box as its full & I can't post a reply. Ta.
  4. Ok , those who messaged me over the past few days regarding kit etc please PM me again as I've managed to delete my inbox! Truck ( hi Lux) & TW 150 DHB. 66 441 201T Cheers. L

  8. A very happy new year to you all. OK, currently working out weather to sell up my business, due to a change of circumstances over the last year. Small tree business in Hampshire. Hi - Lux (2004), TW 150 DHB, few saws, rigging kit and small gear. How would one, e bay aside. ( to sell kit individually) go about selling it on? Any advice or offers welcome. Thanks and regards. L:001_smile:
  9. Hi buddy, Welcome to the forum. Good effort on your service in HM armed forces. But. Like me, the times comes for a change and it's time to move on. Ok. Happy days you're looking into the arb industry. Resettlement courses are offered at training in Kent. However. Take a look at Merrist Wood in Surrey. 9 week course. Hoofing course. Learn loads to take into industry. Service lads are valued in industry. They are punctual, honest, hard working, motivated, organised and keen to get on. So already you have many strings to your bow. Get some experiences by offering a days labour with a local company. Try and get some top tips and see how things go and how you end the job. From there, just see how you go. Enjoy it. Stay positive and keen and you'll be fine. PM me if you need further help. Cheers and all the best. Larry.
  10. Good morning people, an other wet n windy day!!! A heads up for you. A buddies yard near Fareham, Hampshire was recently broken into. SOS container doors ripped open with vehicle and chains TW 150 DHB, 2 x Sthil hedge trimmers, Sthil backpack blower & 2 x bags of climbing kit all stolen. Bad times. So please keep your eyes and ears open. Any leads, please inform. Hampshire Police. Also another yard not too far away from above, was also broken into and similar kit was also stolen. Secondly. Does anyone have chip dump / disposal area & burns site between Portsmouth & Chichester. Mine are slowly running out or depleting. Any help, as ever appreciated. Hopefully we can come to an agreement etc. Thanks people. Tight lines. L.
  11. Hi, Please can you tell me where the nearest authorised TW sales & repair centre is closest to me. ( rotor fin problems, you see)!! I'm in the Portsmouth area. My thanks. L.
  12. Good people, Whats the best and most effective and legal!!!, stump and root killler available? (liqiud etc). There are a few from B & Q etc any suggestions folks:001_smile: Help appriciated Larry!!
  13. Ladies & Gents. After work on Saturday, I wanted to to grab a shower, and get the the pub for the rugby!! But, I made sure all the saw etc were stowed and locked away and the hand tools were secure. Next morning, I found the tool locker on the side of the truck had been forced open. I was fuming. Called Police. Usual respoonse from the force!! However. I thanked my stars that I had stowed and secured all the kit. Thankfull for small mercies!!!!! The door and lock must be replaced but thats it. Aside that some scum broke into my truck!!!! My baby. My livelyhood!!!! So people, take those extra few minutes at the end of the day, Its worth it. All the best. Larry.
