    Rather than start a new thread... I had the covers off my 242 the other day to give it a clean up and this pin fell out. What is it?! Fwiw it fell out with the starter cord assembly facing down but that may mean little. Cheers, Jon

    Yes, polesaws are long but I wouldn't be trusting over £500 worth to a rubber phone holder! Get the roof bars; they're no biggie surely. Something to look out for if you're at all fussy about your van: like most saws polesaws' especially mine!, leak chain oil so beware oil running down the van.
