Single speed and just above tick over is how I’ve always ran winches.  I’d say you be best to attach the main boom to the top of the wince, there’s an eye on it.  To save the head stock taking the abuse towing in.  I’ll find a video of mine with no additional bracing so you can see.

Morning, woke up to some snow on the ground!   Heading off to Scotplant at 7am with a mate.  I’ve not been to a show in about 14 years!  I’ve saved up my Burger money, £65 should cover it!😂

Morning, forgot to yesterday.  Having a lazy week walking the dog and out pedalling.  Then got the rear callipers off the mog last night to send away for a refurb.  Suns out after a bit of snow just there, dentist and more non working stuff

 Cracking run down the west coast visiting some old haunts and big trees I’ve not seen in 15 years.

I don’t think the gazebo cut in run in the chinos was part of the initial plan!  😂
