  1. It's on hire from Overland, since my place hire new vehicles for 3 years then change them. Even though we have some say in what vehicle we want, the management side of the company orders them, for some reason they didn't order it with a winch or anything, doh!

Plenty of space behind the seats, that do actually tilt back a fair way, have a filing cabinet in the middle. Apparently it would of cost somewhere in the region of a grand to get that mini section behind the main door to open, but yeah if you like it i can post up some more pics, it's currently a one off machine from them. The website is http://www.arbtruck.com you've probably heard of them before.

  2. Jonesie, Ive been asked to produce some sort of certificate to say what these helmets can / can't do, i can't remember if any other additonal paperwork was in the boxes you sent me?

Also ive sailed right up **** creek, yes it's my fault i should have enquired about what helmets were up to scratch on the regs, but that hi viz is useless to me now only conforming to 397 and im not sure if they'll let me use the grey one, so i might ebay them if anyones interested.

  3. Im loving both my Steins, would never go back to a petzl. I got the dark grey one with the smoked vizor, it's the tits, when i showed the lads at work they couldnt wait to stick it on and look at themselves in the mirrors lol, meh i can't really use it at work though cuz its a dark colour, so it'll do for recreation etc. The other one is the high viz version, it's serving me well, very comfy, i can't really find any faults with them atm. If your interested i'd ring FR Jones, they were very quick sending mine up :001_cool:

  4. Ok list your tree surgery nightmares, if you list just one per post, or let someone post before you reply, it'll be easier to count up by looking at the post count.

Tree Surgery Nightmares No 1 - Dog ****

You can't call it that though if the customer is around, we invented a new word at my old place "shogdit". Was like a minefield sometimes, and stunk if you stood in it, then you weren't allowed in the van if you did, unless you cleaned it off, i was on regular poop a scoop duty

So come on you've all got nightmares to share.

  6. Nice one, What type of ear defenders are compatible with it? ideally could do with some chipper ones.

I might aswell complete the look with some Hi Viz stretch airs aswell :001_cool: Ive totally trashed my old pair of hi flex's now in defiance of wearing the 2 pairs of kneeflex i got supplied with

  7. Hi Jonesie, jus a quick question, do you stock the Hi Viz version :confused1: I was thinking of buying the dark grey one (do they do a matt black one?) with the smoked visor for "recreational" purposes since my black petzl is looking a bit tired, anyway id like the hiz viz version for work, they're a bit safety conscious, if my gaff is happy with my "bright" idea then he might put an order in for some.

I ordered a 361 and 200T off you a few weeks back, Just like to say thanks for the speedy delivery :001_cool: already on my second chain for the 361 though, some newbie went ploughing with it :mad1: pretty much all the teeth are rounded off, woulda taken me forever to get it right again, anyhow it'll do for roots and such.

    Cheers Dan
