  1. 15 years of living in southern Ireland gave me a liking to the pot distilleries over there due to the beer being so crap the first thing I did when I moved back to the UK was get hammered on some English real ale Boy did I miss a good beer. Im a Canadian by birth an went home to my folks in the summer and enjoyed so many imported whisky's over there, they have a real taste for the stuff and loads to try in almost all bars that I visited ( I must sound like a real piss head Lol) ..
  2. I got the email, shows what you said in your post before you deleted/altered it Lol but I love that place and will make some time next year to revisit and rekindle my love for a good isle of skye whisky Single malt whisky is what I like best and as far as I know Talisker is the only one made on skye "Mac na Mara" and "Poit Dhubh" are blended but very fine products. Dave

  6. umm lucky you and a good taste in Whiskey there.. No wonder you give your eBay customers such a good service...A very long time back I used to work on a estate very close to The old Distillery at Midleton, Ireland, my days off used to quite interesting they make Jameson's there and also the grain for Bushmills comes from this place From there website "Take the path to the Distiller's cottage. See the giant waterwheel which at one stage powered all of the distillery machinery, and today still turns the cogs and wheels in the Mill Building. In the Brew House you will see the largest pot still in the World. While at The Old Cooperage you can literally touch the Distillery's resonant past. Then complete the experience in the only way possible with a well earned whiskey tasting session in the Jameson Bar!" the tours are very good and a lot of whiskey get's to be tasted they are not tight when pouring it out well worth a visit Hic and the only place iv ever lived where there are more tractors than cars parked up or driving down the main road..
  7. Crotch "The area of a tree at which a main branch joins the trunk. the wood from such an area; is known as crotchwood" Lol you just gota love it ! The meanings of words from around the world
