  1. When i was at college doing my cs units, i did 30 and 31 and had them both written on the given on the day, and when i did my 38 and 39 the assessor only wrote 39 on the ticket, i've actually only just noticed this while going through old paperwork, on my actual certificate from college for the whole course its down that i did the 4 units individually while there, but just on this ticket it says CS39, will this be a problem in the future??

  2. I've got a vague idea from the royal mail/parelforce site, prices are pretty reasonable with my guestimated weight of about 11kg. I don't think postage will be a problem.

    Look forward to the pictures!

will try and load them now mate.

  3. I'll probably take them both, it's a about time I got my own chainsaws. Do you have any pictures? Judging by weight and size, how much do you think they'll cost to post to Wiltshire?

i'll get some pics done today for you mate, not sure on postage costs, i'll have a look into it.

  4. I am selling my top handle saw and ms260, both saws are used, but work fine the 260 is only one year old and also has the hedge cutting attachment that can be fitted to it. I'm after £450 for both or £250 for the ms260 and £200 for the top handle, plus postage or I'm near newcastle upon tyne if pick up is easier, i'll give these a few days here before sticking them on the bay of e!!!

  5. I've got a job coming up to remove some hawthorn trees for a client who's building a house, what would be a good species to replant to create some privacy, not be high maintenance and not have prolific roots that cause problems later on???

some will be planted about 8ft from where the house will be built, he is putting up a 6ft fence all the way along too, so it doesn't have to be trees that go in, just something that will create some added privacy???

    Cheers

  6. The CCTV isn't going up yet because I'm moving my yard to the other side of the road. I've just been waiting over twelve months for solicitors to get their act together.

A Basic land swap which involves just exchanging deeds and signing a few bits of paper, been with the solicitors twelve month and we still haven't exchanged :confused1:

Always the way aint it...................................i'm in the middle, well i hope its a bit more than the middle, of an access court case for my daughter, seems only the solicitors win, with the money they are making!!!! The last day in court, with barristers the whole lot, she didnt even turn up, but what gets me even more, her barrister and my barrister were quite clearly good friends and will prob have the whole thing played out already.............yet i'm sitting here stumping a legal bill and basically running a treadmill!!!!!!

Sorry to go off track, but solicitors who'd have them!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Scratched my eyeball a couple of times in the past so know how it feels, and it deffo isnt nice at all:sad:

The stuff they give you at the hospital is brilliant :thumbup1: weren't too impressed when I asked if I could have some though!

It will heal sound but yeah will take a few days.

I asked for some too and got knocked back.......the relief when they put it in was worth any amount of money, wasn't so keen on the luminous yellow snot though!!!!!!

I can still feel mine now if i rub my eye too hard, gotta be one of the most irritating injuries going................

  8. Its a fall arrest device, used in industrial rope access - like ladder climbing. Wouldn't go anywhere near a tree with it if I were you. Where did you find it?

Some bloke found it in a wood at the bottom of a tree, i thought it was the thing they use for wall climbing, so couldn't understand why it was in a wood...........:confused1:
